How Can I Delete Older Updates of the J2se Runtime Environment?
- 1). Click the "Start" button, followed by "Control Panel." The Control Panel window opens onto the screen.
- 2). Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" (in newer versions of Windows it is simply "Programs"). A list of all the programs currently installed on your system opens.
- 3). Scroll through the list until you come across the Java installations. There are several Java programs listed. Find the Java Runtime Environment with the earliest installation date and click it.
- 4). Select "Remove" and a window appears, asking if you are sure you want to remove the program. Click "Yes" and the older update of J2se is removed from your system.
