1). Insert a hot glue stick into a hot glue gun. Plug in the gun to heat up for five minutes.
2). Hot-glue two 1/4-inch dowels horizontally onto the bottom of an empty two-liter soda bottle. Space the dowels out about four inches.
3). Slip a four-inch wooden craft wheel onto the end of each dowel.
4). Place a 1/2-inch ball of modeling clay onto the end of each dowel to hold on the wheels.
5). Fill the bottle with two cups of white vinegar.
6). Pour 1/4-cup of baking soda onto a tissue, and tie the tissue into a pouch with a piece of string.
7). Insert the pouch into the bottle, and place the bottle car onto the ground. Once the tissue paper dissolves, the baking soda will react with the vinegar to create gas rapidly. The gas will shoot out of the opening of the bottle, making the car race across the ground.
