How to Reinstall AIM

AIM PC Reinstallation

1). Click "Start" on the desktop and click "Control Panel."
2). Click "Programs" in the Control Panel window and click "Uninstall a program" underneath "Programs and Features."
3). Click "AIM" in the program list, and click "Uninstall" at the top of the list. Click "Yes" to run the uninstallation wizard, and enter your administrator password to continue.
4). Click "Yes" to enter your admin password, and click Close" after the uninstallation wizard finishes.
5). Download the latest version of AIM, and click "Run" to run AIM's installation wizard.
6). Click "Next" and "Install" to install the new version of AIM. Click "Close" to exit out the installation window after it finishes.

1). Click "Go" and "Applications" at the top of your desktop's menu.
2). Drag "AIM" to the trash bin and release the mouse to send AIM to the Trash.
3). Hold "Control" on your keyboard and click the trash icon. Click "Empty Trash."
4). Download the latest version of AIM from the AIM site, and double-click the AIM.pkg file in the pop-up window.
5). Click "Continue" and and "Install" in the application installation window. Enter your admin password and press "Enter." Click "Close" to exit the installation window.
