- 1). Go online to the PowerPoint 2010 homepage (see Resources) and click "Try Office 2010 for free."
- 2). Click the "Try it now" button.
- 3). Click "Sign up for New Account."
- 4). Enter your personal information into the corresponding text-fields and click "Continue Checkout."
- 5). Click the "Download Now" button and choose your desktop as the location to save the file.
- 6). Double-click the downloaded file on your desktop.
- 7). Enter the product key Microsoft emailed to you in the dialog window.
- 8). Access the "Start" menu on your computer, select "Program Files," choose "Microsoft Office" and click "PowerPoint" to open PowerPoint.
