    Scented Jars

    • Clean the empty Mason fruit jar thoroughly and allow to air-dry. Select a scent of potpourri that you enjoy and mix together with dried flowers. Place potpourri and dried flowers into the dry glass jar and cover with a circular, five-inch doily. Secure the doily with a rubber band. Use a colorful ribbon and tie around the jar covering the rubber band. Additional decorations such as dried flowers can be adhered around the top of the fruit jar. Place the scented glass jar where it can be enjoyed both for its scent and beauty.

    Glass Garden

    • Roll out a small amount of green play dough or green dyed modeling clay. Place the round top to the mason fruit jar on the dough and cut out a circle. Use the circle as a base to create a flower garden for the inside of the Mason jar. Stick dried or silk flowers into the dough base in a pleasing arrangement. Let dough dry overnight then hot glue onto the Mason jar lid. Carefully place the lid on the upside down Mason jar and screw into place. Tie a decorative ribbon around the lid on the bottom of the Mason jar and place the flower garden on a shelf where it can be enjoyed.

    Hanging Tea Light

    • Select items for the base of the tea candle mason fruit jar such as colorful rocks, beads, buttons or sea glass. Decorate the outside of the Mason jar by hot gluing colorful beads or glitter. Fill the glass jar three-fourths of the way with the selected items. Press an indentation in the items for the tea light to sit so it is supported. Wrap a length of craft wire around the top of the Mason jar and then twist an additional piece to attach creating a handle for the candle to hang from a hook or tree branch. Light the candle and enjoy inside or out.
