- Enable IPV6 to increase the connectivity of a computer's IP to another peer while using uTorrent. With Teredo, IPV6-enabled applications communicate faster over widely used IPV4 networks. Security also improves, as IPV6 protects against attacks from unsolicited traffic while using file sharing networks.
- IPV6 supports Windows Vista (enabled by default), Windows XP with Service Pack 1 (disabled by default), Windows Server 2008 (enabled by default) and Windows Server 2003 (disabled by default).
- IPV6 is apart of a computer's operating system. If you do not have a real IPV6 address, the feature still appears as an option in the uTorrent general preferences, but is not accessible.
