- 1). Loosen the mounting screws, without completely removing them, at the base of your scope rings to allow you to spread the bracket apart. Place the bracket on the grooves on top of the rifle and tighten the mounting screws.
- 2). Use the Allen wrench (supplied with your scope mount) to remove the top halves of your scope rings. Place your scope onto the rings and reattach the top halves, but do not completely tighten them.
- 3). Position your scope so that you have sufficient eye relief and that the crosshairs appear straight across and straight down, when viewed through the scope. When your scope is positioned as desired, finish tightening the tops of the scope rings.
