- 1). Cut the pendant pattern into pieces and put on the safety glasses.
- 2). Draw each piece with the marker on the appropriate piece of glass and cut the glass as necessary using the glass cutter and glass pliers. Dip the cutting wheel in glass cutter oil to lubricate it.
- 3). Shape the glass pendant pieces further and smooth the edges using the glass grinder.
- 4). Clean glass cutter oil and glass dust off the pieces with a bit of soap and water, then dry them completely.
- 5). Wrap copper foil around the edge of each piece of the glass pendant so that it folds evenly on either side.
- 6). Smooth the copper foil firmly onto the glass using the burnishing tool.
- 7). Arrange the pieces on the pattern and brush flux along the copper foil.
- 8). Melt solder along all the copper foil seams so it beads into an evenly rounded line.
- 9). Cut a small piece of wire and twist it into a small circle with the wires sticking off. Solder this onto the top of the pendant to use as a way to attach the pendant to a necklace.

Clean the pendant again to remove the flux and polish it with stained glass finishing compound or carnauba wax.
