- 1). Click the "Start" button and select "Control Panel."
- 2). Type "Indexing options" in the top, right search field and click "Indexing Options" in the search results.
- 3). Click "Advanced" in the Indexing Options window and enter the administrative password, if requested.
- 4). Click "Rebuild" on the "Index Settings" tab of the Advanced Options window. If asked for an administrative password, enter it again.
