How to Graph Polar Coordinates
- 1). Start with the angle/magnitude number pair having an angle of zero degrees. Find the horizontal line on the paper coming from the center and moving to the right. Mark a point on the paper corresponding to the data pair's magnitude. For example, if the magnitude is 5, count five circular lines outward and mark the horizontal line at that point.
- 2). Proceed to the data point with the next greatest angle and mark the point on the paper corresponding to the data's magnitude. Continue to plot data points on the paper.
- 3). Stop after you have either completed 360 degrees around the graph or have run out of data, whichever comes first.
