How to Check Microsoft Windows XP Program Problems

1). Open the Start menu and click "Run."
2). Type "wscui.cpl" into the Run box and press "Enter."
3). Select Windows Firewall and click "Exceptions."
4). Look through the "Files and Programs" list. If the program you are having problems with is not on the list, you have found the problem.
5). Click "Add Program." Scroll through the list of programs installed on your computer. Click on the program you want to fix. Click "OK."
6). Check the box next to the program you just added to the Files and Programs list. Click "OK." This should solve the conflict between the program and Windows XP.
