How to Check Microsoft Windows XP Program Problems
- 1). Open the Start menu and click "Run."
- 2). Type "wscui.cpl" into the Run box and press "Enter."
- 3). Select Windows Firewall and click "Exceptions."
- 4). Look through the "Files and Programs" list. If the program you are having problems with is not on the list, you have found the problem.
- 5). Click "Add Program." Scroll through the list of programs installed on your computer. Click on the program you want to fix. Click "OK."
- 6). Check the box next to the program you just added to the Files and Programs list. Click "OK." This should solve the conflict between the program and Windows XP.
