- 1). Open the "Control Panel" (via the Start menu) and select "Performance and Maintenance."
- 2). Select "Administrative Tools" and then "Services."
- 3). Right-click "Security Center" and select "Properties."
- 4). Select "General." Open the "Startup Type" menu and select "Disabled." Select "Stop" from "Service Status." Click "OK" to save the new changes. Restart the computer.
