How to Play Sims 2 in a Small Window Screen

1). Right-click on the shortcut icon for your Sims 2 game. Click "Properties" to open these settings and options.
2). Navigate to the "Target" field and place your cursor at the end of the text that is already in this field. It should end with '.exe".'
3). Enter " --w" at the end of the string of text in the "Target" field. Do not omit the space between the quotation mark at the end of the text string and the hyphen you enter.
4). Click "Apply" and then click "OK."
5). Start your Sims 2 game. It should begin immediately in a windowed mode that allows you to see the other programs and items you have active on your desktop.
