How to Frame on Top of a Steel Base Angle
- 1). Drill holes into the concrete for the anchor screws to secure the base angles. Affix base angles that are 4-by-3-inches to have sufficient metal edges to secure the metal panels on to frame up the walls.
- 2). Set in the anchor screws through the base angle and into the concrete. Lay out the metal panels and measure 2 inches up from the bottom.
- 3). Drill a 1/8 inch hole into the panels, starting the first hole in the groove of the panel. Space the holes every 6 inches on center. Attach the metal panels to the base angles for the walls of the building.
