- 1). Insert the Windows XP 64-bit installation disc into the optical drive on your Lenovo ThinkPad.
- 2). Turn on your computer and press any key to boot from disc when you are prompted to do so.
- 3). Press "Enter" at the Windows setup screen.
- 4). Accept the Windows licensing agreement by pressing "F8."
- 5). Enter your product code when prompted.
- 6). Enter your region and time information, and then allow Windows XP 64 bit to install on your Lenovo ThinkPad.
