    End System Processes

    • 1). Press the "Ctrl," "Shift" and "Esc" keys at the same time to start the Task Manager.

    • 2). Click the "Processes" tab.

    • 3). Select "antimalware.exe" and click "End Process." Select "uninstall.exe" and click "End Process."

    • 4). Close the Task Manager.

    Delete Registry Entries

    • 1). Go to the "Start" menu and click "Run."

    • 2). Type "regedit" in the search field and click "OK" to start the Registry Editor.

    • 3). Browse to and remove the following registry entries:

      HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{5E2121EE-0300-11D4-8D3B-444553540000}
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Active Security
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AntiMalware
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AntiMalware
      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "AntiMalware"
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Approved "{5E2121EE-0300-11D4-8D3B-444553540000}"

    • 4). Close the Registry Editor.

    Unregister DLL

    • 1). Go to the "Start" menu and select "Run."

    • 2). Type "cmd" and hit "Enter" to start the command line window.

    • 3). Type "regsvr32 /u amext.dll" and hit "Enter" to unregister the DLL.

    • 4). Close the Registry Editor.

    Delete Files and Folders

    • 1). Go to the "Start" menu and select "Search."

    • 2). Check "All Files and Folders" and select drive "C:" from the drop-down menu.

    • 3). Type "AntiMalware" in the search field and hit "Enter." Delete all search results.

    • 4). Repeat Step 3 for "AntiMalware Support.lnk," "AntiMalware.lnk," "Uninstall AntiMalware.lnk," "start," "4otjesjty.mof" and "c.dat."

    • 5). Restart your computer.
